“His & Hers is a very clever and refreshing read. It’s a study in the social psychology of men and women in their journey to finding a fulfilling and healthy relationship.

The author, Abby-Leigh Wilson, gives her reader a look into both the male and female minds as she presents her audience with both sides of a blossoming relationship…….. as I kept reading, it just got better and better. To be able to understand the certain nuances that happen between men and women is a difficult feat.

To be confident enough to write in a male perspective is a very bold move. Wilson clearly did her research because her male character is believable. Wilson’s characters, Alex and Ellie, are well developed. Anyone reading the novel can easily identify with either character. Alex’s thoughts are primarily in the present. He’s preoccupied with breaking his dry spell in the bedroom. He’s recently broken up with his girlfriend, and the only thing on his mind, other than his loneliness, is sex.

Ellie, on the other hand, is concerned with finding “the one.” ……It’s a witty and humorous set of real life events of what happens when two people meet and attempt to fall in love. His & Hers is truly a good read and I recommend it to everyone, men and women alike.”

Profile

 

Abby-Leigh Wilson was born in Crawley, West Sussex in 1978. She studied at the University of Brighton and achieved a BA (Hons) Law & Accountancy, and then went on to Oxford Brookes University where she achieved a Bsc (Hons) Applied Accounting. She also became a part-qualified accountant.

When Abby-Leigh was just fifteen years old, she wrote her first novel based on her favourite science-fiction series, Star Trek. Unfortunately the book lay un-edited for many years and was never sent off to any publishing houses, as Abby-Leigh became distracted by studying and her future career. Yet she always hoped that she would one day return to her first love of writing.

For the last ten years Abby-Leigh has worked as  the UK Branch Manager of an international organisation selling office equipment. Eventually she realised that this choice of career simply wasn’t for her, and decided to leave in order to fulfil her life long dream of becoming a published author.

It is only now that Abby-Leigh Wilson has finally found the time to write, edit and publish her first novel, His & Hers.
